Buzzing..............

After one of my usual sleeps, waking at 3:00am and then dozing only to rewake every 30 minutes until 5:00am, I went through the day in an incredibly energized mood.

The walk to work is my thinking and planning time, today proved no exception.  My mind was racing, there are so many things to think through; Fundraising ideas, people I want to contact, questions I want to ask my most supportive, and so much more....

For the past few months I have focused my energies primarily on helping a friend who was going through a tough time.  But with their problems abating I can start to redirect my focus towards my own goal.

As I mentioned before I have spent considerable time researching a variety of different aid agencies until So They Can (STC) fell into my lap.  But I didn't like to assume, just because this charity was New Zealand based that it was a perfect fit.  So I have been checking them out and I'm really happy with all that I am reading and seeing about this amazing organisation.

It was hugely reassuring to find (STC) listed with the New Zealand Charities Register - #CC45673

Reading also that All Black and Hurricanes player Conrad Smith has visited Aberdare Ranges Primary School in conjunction with (STC) also buoyed my confidence.

The little voice inside my head is starting to shout louder and louder and it's telling me
"You can do this girl, you can do this...!!!"

Somebody asked me today
"Aren't you scared?"
and my answer "Damn right I'm scared"
But Im not scared of going to Kenya, I'm terrified of failing now I've told everybody.
