Their dad and I may longer be together, but together we made, loved, nurtured and developed two young woman and for that I will always be grateful to him.
The pride I felt last night as we all shared a meal, and I looked on at my daughter who turned 21 yesterday was immense. She is a shining example of what this world needs (yeah, maybe I am biased, but I'm not blinded) she is honest, caring, educated, hardworking, reliable, responsible, compassionate, single minded and so so much more, who wouldn't be proud to put their hand up and say "that's my girl"? I know I am.
So for once this blog, isn't about my dreams, my opinions, my needs. it's just about my pride.
Life affords no greater responsibility, no greater privilege, than the raising of the next generation.
