Who could have ever predicted that when I stepped onto that plane to Wellington in the early hours of May 28th earlier this year, that a life changing "ohmygosh" moment was just hours away? Since that moment, the past eight weeks have seen the biggest shift in personal growth I could ever imagine. And day by day it just seems to keep getting bigger.
What a brilliant feeling, to finally have my ticket confirmed and paid for. With a little financial jiggerypokery, some robbing of Peter to pay Paul, I was able to secure my flights, and I got a damn good price. For now the bank account reads zilch again, but I'm confident it won't take long to start working towards the next milestone... small steps, big results...

Jamie and I had a discussion about abs-olutely.blogspot.co.nz and my writing style (or lack of) Hey, I'm the first to admit, I'm certainly no literary genius, far from it... but Jamie suggested I take a look at one of the books penned by his friend Kevin Biggar, and it might give me some ideas and direction for my writing, so I went online and ordered The Oarsome Adventures of a Fat Boy Rower
So the entry is going to be short tonight. Actually there's lots to share, there's plenty of stuff I want to prattle on about.. but no, I'm snuggling down in my warm bed, with the rain beating down on the roof and a Fatboy Rower for company, or at least 326 pages of his ponderings... I just knew Fatboy Rower was going to resonate with me, when I opened up the first page and read the following...
"This is a story about trying to find happiness. There is a strange trick to being happy, you have to think certain things, believe certain things and hold your tongue a certain way..."I've always believed, think happy and you'll be happy, tell yourself you're happy and more often than not you can become happy... but more importantly, I grew up being told by my Grandad, "Jacq, it's all in the way you hold your tongue"
Asante
Jacq
