And So The Next Round of Shameless Self Promotion Begins

So who's coming... ?

Dave at Hallertau has been incredibly generous in his support of my attempts to raise money to get to Nakuru, Kenya.  Initially I contacted dozens companies, with the belief that if I threw out enough hooks I would get a few bites, and sure enough I did.  Hallertau were one of those bites, whilst not a regular at Hallertau, I've had the pleasure of visiting there about a dozen times, and I can't speak highly enough of the place.  The food, the service, the beer it's all of the highest quality.  

So when Dave offered me a $120 meal voucher to auction off at my Silent Auction in September I was stoked.  He then kindly suggested I bring some friends along to their quiz night, and self promote a little, there would be a raffle etc with funds going towards "Getting Jacqui to Kenya"

"Great I said... sounds like a plan" 

Then he hits me with the piece de resistance "how about you be the Quiz Mistress?"

Am I nervous? Hell yeah, (just a little) those who know me, know I can talk to anybody, but the front of the room scares the living daylights out of me.  But it's all about stepping outside the comfort zone, so Tuesday night I'm taking a giant sideways step right out of mine......
