A little bit of a slow day in the world of "Get Jacq to Kenya".... but not without it's merits.
But I have had two kind offers of contributions towards the silent auction. My lovely friend Diane in Canada has offered me a bone carving, hand carved by her husband, and my friend Steve, who owns a hairdressing salon in Massey has said he kindly donate a basket of hair product...... People are so generous.
I am in the process of deciding how I will set up the acknowledgements page of this blog. I tried this morning to put an additional page along the top of the blog, but for some reason it will allow me to add the page, but it doesn't show it. I obviously need to adjust the page layout/settings or something. I will play around make it work..
To me the acknowledgement of gifts/products/services is paramount, people must know how grateful I am for their generosity.
