Yesterday Deflated, Today Re-Ignited

And I know which feels better...

What an amazing amount of support I received today, in the past 36 hours abs-olutely has had over 100 views.  Okay in the big scheme of the internet, that's minuscule, to me it's a boost of unimaginable proportions.

Support has come in many forms today, from messages on Facebook, emails and verbal support from colleagues and friends it's just been outstanding and it feels great.  I was so humbled to receive the following message via my Facebook page today
Hey Jacqui, I've just spent most of my morning reading your blog and watching the Randy Paucsh lecture that you posted and I felt very inspired and I want to help you achieve your dream. I'd like to donate a couple of pictures printed on canvas to go towards your silent auction. I hope this will be of some help and please let me know if there is anything else I can do. You are an amazing, energetic, positive woman and I know you will be able to reach your goal. You go! :-)
Let me share with you a little about this lady, I met her about twelve years ago, when I had the pleasure of teaching both her boys at pre-school.  Over the years our paths have continued to cross and we have gotten to know each other quite well.  Over time I discovered not only is this lady a dedicated partner, a mother to three great kids, she also holds down what can only be described as one of the most stressful, challenging, community serving jobs possible, on top of all this, she is an amazing photographer....

A few years back she kindly took some photographs of my daughters first school ball, the photos were stunning.  Over time, via posts on Facebook, I have enjoyed watching her develop her craft... this lady is talented, she really knows her stuff, and then today to receive a message like the one above just blows me away, thank you Annie De Montalk, your generosity is greatly appreciated.

And after a lovely dinner with my eldest daughter where we shared ideas and goals.      (Her story is worthy of a post all by itself, one day soon I will share a little of her amazing story with you, volunteering in the Amazon when she was only 19, the girls a Legend.)  I'm feeling incredibly positive tonight, I'm starting believe that I could really do this.
